Testimonials
I have to say that my mind was racing when i got home and wanted to try out what Id learnt I guess it was 2.30 am before i went to sleep, too much Photoshop over excitement !!! Being face to face with Guy and the ability to question him live is by far the most effective way of learning.

Session One
Applying 'Auto-Levels' to every image automatically would be an impossibility for most, but it is a hugely important first step in the process. Here you will learn how to configure and fine tune the 'Auto Levels' parameters to give 100% predictable results so you can trust it across multiple images automatically.
Applying 'Contrast' to an image is one of the most important steps in image manipulation and sadly the tools provided today in software are questionable to say the least. My method is 'the best' and can be altered to suit Landscape, Portrait or any specific image or simply used and an average which works on any image. Seeing is believing and after this you will look at all imaging software with an altered perspective.
Session Two
There was a time when Photographers defined themselves by the film they used, because each film had a different colour trait they would use different film types for different types of photographic work. Controls to manipulate the colours within an image are rudimentary at best and give little or no subtlety to adjusting colour. Here you will learn how to add a set of
layers to your action which brings life to your images that most would not believe possible. You can modify this technique to achieve personalised results in an intuitive and easy to understand approach. True sharpening has been lost over the years and here you will learn the theory and see just what images have been missing over the last twenty years. It will look and feel as though you have upgraded you camera without having to.
Session Three
Instead of shooting four images at 0.5 stop increments, combining them into a 32bit monster of a file and at the end of this arduous process you still have to compromise as well as spend lots of time 'Wanging' numerous slide bars around to usual produce an image which is easily identified as a HDR image. If you can see the process in the image then the process is not a good one. In this session you will learn how to utilise the huge range of detail with a RAW file and create a totally convincing 'NATURAL' image that no one will be able to label with that HDR effect. This methodology starts at the time of shooting and then requires a simple approach to RAW conversion and then a simple series of non subjective steps in Photoshop to achieve stunning results. When added to the action set, there will be more detail or range in the image for contrast, colour and sharpening to work on.
