Creating an engaging landscape panorama is one of the most rewarding accomplishments that we achieve as photographers. This type of image can be a very challenging undertaking as nearly all landscape images require a good grasp of HDR imaging.

Congratulations Guy on the new pre process action - what a difference it makes.I had a really difficult image to process and what a great job it made of correcting it. Love it!

Landscape Panoramas
Creating an engaging landscape panorama is one of the most rewarding accomplishments that we achieve as photographers. This type of image can be a very challenging undertaking as nearly all landscape images require a good grasp of HDR imaging.
Once you overcome the HDR aspect of taking the images you then need to address the next big problem of landscape processing - the sky. Increasing contrast and colour of the 'land' part of the landscape is not the most difficult aspect of the retouching process... its managing the 'sky'.

In my experience manipulating the sky requires a different approach and in this feature length tutorial you will see how I do it from start to finish.

I will outline how to Shoot, manage raw conversion, stitch, process and finally retouch.

This process It is what I personally enjoy the most as a photographer/retoucher. My approach is a little (if not alot) unconventional but it works perfectly every time for me, and those I teach it to, love it.
