Auto-Levels
(highlight only)

This tutorial teaches the new method of applying Auto-Levels to the highlight only. Allowing Auto-Levels to modify the shadow areas of an image can result in over dark images which then need to be corrected in retouching. Performing levels in this way will leave the image in a far more natural state and if you need to darken the shadow areas you would use Shadow Contrast as it always was meant used.

Great Stuff,
Seems so simple after you see it..... food for the creative brain is always welcome
Makes sense and will be immediately implemented and considered in the basic adjustments.
