A castle since the 14th century, with the most recent redesign taking place in the late 1800s and set in a secluded 500 acre estate Markree is a truely unique hidden gem in the heart of the stunning beauty of the North West of Ireland.
Guy and Kevin will work together in their session. Kevin is a renowned Wedding Photographer and has won many professional awards and accolades for his work. He is the only photographer to have achieved two fellowships in social photography, one in wedding, the other in portraiture throughout the 108 year history of the British Institute of Professional Photography. Kevin and Guy will use their session to impart their insight on how to capture the image and then retouch it with creativity, control and style.
Hoss will be demonstrating portraiture lighting and posing from basic to advanced and showing how poses can give the viewer and the sitter different moods and image control. How to work out your own style from your personality. During his talk, Hoss will be exploring the future – predicting what customers will want, and looking at ways to constantly bring fresh excitement to your work. His dynamic, energetic presentation of his recent work will leave you hanging onto your seats.
Vincent O Byrne's work has wowed audiences worldwide. He will be recreating one of his famous award winning images for his session at Markree. Vincent will work with a model, capture the image take the image into photoshop and by projection, show all his photoshop techniques to create the finished piece. Walking attendees through his application of subtle glows, skin enhancement the making of rain over the image etc. The session will show the making of a piece from scratch and will outline the his thought process and inspiration for the image. Truly a magical opportunity for each class of 6.
Henk Van Kooten is a Dutch based commercial photographer who again is highly regarded internationally and holds a slew of awards and prestigious clients. His session will concentrate on modern portraiture and concepts, how to prepare and how to choose and shoot.Exploring the building-blocks to imaging using different sets and costumes to demonstrate his style (on location or studio photography): Attendees will be encouraged to take images while he works with them and then review their printed results.
