Hoss
Hoss FMPA FBIPP QEP runs a digital studio based in Abbots Langley Hertfordshire, together with his wife and business manager Tracy Mahdavi ABIPP. Although he operates as a ‘general photographer’, he is best known for his individual and creative slant on fashion style portraiture.
This Iranian born photographer’s approach is progressive and forward thinking, always with an eye on how today’s consumers are influenced by media and advertising. Hoss looks at incoming trends in fashion and music and incorporates them in his images.
He has lectured for BIPP, BIPP Holland, MPA, MPA Ireland, PPNI, Epson, Hasselblad and many local events. He has photographed royalty from all around the world. He has worked in Boston, Nigeria and Monaco photographing heads of state and the commercial world.
He has also appeared in Professional Photographers of America magazine and has gained many national and regional awards as well as chairing the London Portrait Group for three years. Most recently he has won the MPA Family Portrait Photographer of the Year 2009, and the MPA central region Master photographer of the year and family portrait Under 5s and Fashion and Glamour photographer of the year 2009.
